For over 15 years, Harbinder Goraya has been guiding transformative initiatives at Xtel that have left a lasting impact. Currently Vice President of Operations and Engineering, Goraya begin his trajectory at Xtel as a Senior Network Engineer, a professional avenue that swiftly propelled him to the position of Director of Network Services. This distinguished role became his anchor for almost a decade until he began spearheading the operations and engineering department. Notably, his influence extends beyond projects to the composition and growth of diverse teams at Xtel, where he plays an instrumental role in fostering a harmonious and prosperous ecosystem. This multifaceted journey underscores his unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation and collaboration. 

His achievements include the leadership of a global support team for an exceptional video phone product line at Worldgate Communications, and at Xtel, he played a decisive part in orchestrating the successful launch of our innovative cleanpipe product line. Additionally, his influence extended to the establishment of a resilient infrastructure that catalyzed the swift introduction and growth of Connectivity-based and Unified Communications products.

The fusion of his professional and personal philosophies has proven instrumental in shaping his career trajectory and daily pursuits. The bedrock of transparency, teamwork, diligent effort and unwavering ethical conduct has consistently illuminated his path, guiding and empowering him to make decisions that seamlessly align with business objectives while concurrently nurturing an environment that fosters individual growth and collective success within our Xtel teams. 

Beyond the digital realm, Goraya takes delight in embracing the outdoors and spending time with his wife and children.

With an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction, Rachael Doolin utilizes collaborative teamwork and mentorship to lead the Partner and Customer Relations department in providing an exceptional level of customer satisfaction year over year. Doolin has been an integral part of the Xtel team for over 20 years, during which she has embraced the changing nature of the telecommunications industry by refining her skills and positioning her team for success with steadfast dedication and excellence.

Doolin believes in using every challenge as an opportunity to learn and improve, as evidenced by her initial role as VOIP provisioner and support representative to Customer Support Manager and eventual rise to Director of Partner and Customer Relations. This belief has guided Doolin towards roles and projects that allow her to develop unexplored skills and push herself and her team beyond their comfort zone. Embracing the unknown helps Doolin enrich her professional experiences while empowering her team to realize their full potential as leaders in the customer service space.

Outside of providing exceptional customer support at Xtel, Doolin spends her free time with her family. Self-proclaimed weekend warriors, they enjoy being together and on the go going to family parties, sporting events or a quick trip to the Poconos.

As Vice President of Finance and Treasurer, John West, CPA, lends his financial acumen to propel Xtel’s growth, including the company’s acquisition of Maryland-based VoIP pioneer GTB Global Telecom. With a career spanning over two decades, West lends his success to his strong leadership skills and ability to financially transform telecom organizations. His expertise has empowered many high-profile mergers and acquisitions, including the sale of Line Systems to a media conglomerate, earning the former owners seven times earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization. 

Even early on in his career, West exemplified his strong leadership abilities by hosting a roadshow to train and develop future financial leaders. He puts accountability at the forefront of both his professional and personal life, which has been the foundation of the career path that led him to Xtel, where he continues to spark financial innovation and improve efficiency while identifying new opportunities. When he’s not crunching numbers, you can find West on the golf course or somewhere outdoors spending time with his family. West holds a BS in Accounting and CPA.

As Senior Director of Sales, Vince McKernan leads Xtel’s sales and business development efforts nationwide. With over 30 years of telecom and technology sales experience as a top-performing, results-driven professional, McKernan enhances Xtel’s ability to provide valuable and customizable solutions across multiple sectors. 

After serving four years in the U.S. Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer, McKernan kicked off his career in telecommunications selling long-distance services at Allnet Communications. 

Over the years, he has held multiple sales leadership positions, including spending over two decades with Windstream Communications, where he celebrated Elite status a multitude of times. He believes in a strategy-first approach and analyzing data to drive optimal results. McKernan is an eXpert at implementing solutions across Cloud, Voice & Data, Wi-Fi, UCaaS, PBX, SD-WAN and Cybersecurity. In his spare time, you can find McKernan with a golf club in hand. McKernan holds a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University.

As Manager of Engineering, Andrew Rossi is a passionate telecommunications professional who steers Xtel’s cross-functional teams, fosters innovation and implements streamlined processes. Since joining Xtel, Rossi has been instrumental in optimizing departmental performance and contributing to the company’s growth. His accomplishments reflect his dedication to continuous improvement, technical proficiency and effective leadership. Before his leadership position, Rossi was a Senior Voice Engineer, where he led a dynamic team of eXperts to successfully enhance the company’s HPBX platform, resulting in improved reliability and expanded capabilities. 

Prior to joining Xtel, Rossi began his telecom career at RCN, where he started as a call center agent and successfully worked his way up to a Senior Engineer, deploying a new voice platform, one of the highlights of his career. Rossi lends the convergence of his professional and personal philosophies as his guiding force. He values continuous growth, innovation and meaningful contributions. He has channeled these beliefs into his role at Xtel, constantly seeking opportunities to learn, adapt and make impactful contributions. This alignment has propelled his personal development and organizational progress. When he’s not engineering the latest network solution, you can find him driving a hole-in-one on the golf course or with his treasured friends and family. Rossi holds certifications in Cisco CCNA Routing and Switching, as well as Cisco CCNA Security.

Chris Chirico is the Chief Commercial Officer of Xtel. Prior to joining the company, Chirico was Managing Director, Managed Solutions at Crown Castle (NYSE: CCI), a national communications infrastructure and fiber provider. There he led the managed solutions practice and was responsible for the company’s managed solutions growth and cross-functional execution. Prior to joining Crown Castle, Chirico was the COO and co-owner of VergX (Acquired by: CCI), a turnkey provider of SASE, NaaS, Network Security and SD-WAN solutions to enterprises and service providers. There he was responsible for the development, growth and execution of the organization’s sales, technology, engineering and operations teams. Prior to VergX, Chirico was the COO of CentileHosted, PE backed by Centile Telecom Applications (Acquired by: Enreach) and MVC Capital, a unique single-source provider of cloud services specializing in unified communications, Hosted PBX and mobility applications. Chirico was also a key team member at Alteva (formerly NYSE: ALTV) a BroadSoft Service Provider specializing in Hosted PBX & UC services. There he was responsible for channel performance, sales operations, account management and sales engineering. Now, as a key member of the leadership team at Xtel, Chirico focuses on the company’s GTM, strategic growth and commercial execution.
